A Christian Scientist loves his neighbor, practices the Golden Rule and obeys the laws of the land. Accordingly, we have canceled our Sunday morning worship service and Wednesday evening testimony meeting until further notice. We will continue to monitor Federal, State and local directives as well as community practice to determine when normal activities will resume. Although our services might be canceled, our prayers for the protection and healing of our neighbors, our nation and our world continue uninterrupted.

Our Pastor is fairly unique – rather than an individual that a congregation looks to for guidance, comfort, healing, or a deeper sense of purpose – the Christian Science Pastor is contained in two books, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Together these books serve as a mentor, spiritual resource, and timeless guide open to all – a Pastor for the world.
As the Pastor for the worldwide Church of Christ, Scientist, the Bible and Science and Health preach to congregations at all Christian Science worship services. On Sundays, a Bible Lesson-Sermon of passages from these books is presented by Readers. Wednesday services include topical readings from the Pastor and time for congregants to share how it has inspired and brought about healing through prayer.
The mid-week prayer meeting at 7:30 pm is a gathering where we sing, pray, and listen to readings from our pastor, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, on contemporary topics. A major part of the meeting includes time for anyone to share healings and inspiration from their study of Christian Science.
Worship on Sundays is an hour long beginning at 10:00 am. Conducted by lay members of the congregation, the sermon is comprised of citations from the Bible and a companion text, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Services are visitor-friendly. Come dressed as you feel comfortable.
The Sunday School welcomes pupils up to the age of twenty years. Classes meet at the same hour as the Sunday church service. Students are welcome to enroll at any time during the year. Visiting students are always welcome.
All students are taught the Scriptures and the allness of God. First lessons include the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Sermon on the Mount, and introductions to Bible characters. Next lessons consist of discussions, questions, and answers aligned to the weekly Bible lesson found in the Christian Science Quarterly.
Children too young to attend Sunday School are cared for in our Children’s Room.
